Esslingen / Hanover, 10 September 2019 – For agricultural and forestry machinery, ideal thermal management is the key to being prepared for work no matter the season or weather. At Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, Eberspaecher and its most recent subsidiary Eberspaecher Kalori will present their wide range of products together at a joint stand for the first time: The reliable heating and cooling solutions offer comfort and safety in off-highway vehicles. From November 10 to 16, visitors to Stand D27 in Hall 17 will find products such as the new pre-assembled evaporator system KAB for driver’s cabs of all sizes or the Titronic CHHV 50 G3 high-voltage coolant heater for agricultural and forestry machinery with a hybrid or electric drive.
French climate control specialist Eberspaecher Kalori has profound experience in the development, application and production of air-conditioning, ventilation and pressurization systems for agricultural and forestry machinery. As a heating and cooling expert, Eberspaecher has been a competent global partner in this area for many years. Their competences complement each other perfectly: “Thanks to our shared expertise, we offer customers from all over the world an even wider range of combined thermal management systems all from a single source through our global service and distribution network,” explains Dr Jörg Schernikau, COO of Climate Control Systems.
Pleasant temperatures and clean air in the driver’s cab
To make sure drivers of tractors, combine harvesters etc. can focus on their work even in extreme heat or cool temperatures, optimal climate control of the driver’s cab is essential. With the KAB, Eberspaecher Kalori presents a new pre-assembled evaporator system that integrates air distribution and manual operating elements and can be easily installed in the cab roof. It is also available as a combined HVAC version for heating, ventilation and cooling. No matter the size of the cab: One of the over ten system variants ensures a comfortable climate. Eberspaecher Kalori also offers cabin pressurization systems, like the K Protec: A filter system and an overpressure generated in the driver’s cab filters out pollutants and dust particles from the cab air, while the overpressure prevents them from even entering. The K Protec enables cab certification in accordance with EN 15695 Category 4.
Reliable electric heating for all drive types
Even at low temperatures, work in forestry or agricultural business must go on. Eberspaecher’s new Titronic CCHV 50 G3 is a purely electrical solution for fast, reliable heating of off-highway vehicles with a hybrid or electric drive. The compact high-voltage coolant heater warms up the driver’s cab with PTC technology: With their in-system self-control effect, these high-performance PTC elements protect against overheating, enabling safe and powerful heating. The Plugtronic electrical pre-heating system conveniently provides warmth from a socket (230 V) to begin a cold workday at the depot.
