Webasto heater: error codes
If the heater is equipped with a standard or combi-timer, then after an emergency lock, a fault code is issued on the timer display. < / span>
To the error code of the webasto heater:
F 00 - faulty control unit
F 01 - heater shutdown after 2 unsuccessful start attempts
F 02 - flame break (repeated more than 3 times)
F 03 - voltage drop below acceptable or increase above acceptable
F 04 - premature flame detection
F 06 - open circuit or short circuit of the temperature sensor
F 07 - open circuit or short circuit of the metering pump
F 08 - open circuit or short circuit of the air blower motor, overload or blocking of the air blower impeller
F 09 - open circuit or short circuit of the glow plug
F 10 - overheating
F 11 - open circuit or short circuit of the heating limiter
F 12 - heater lock: unlocking - turn on the heater, remove the fuse, turn off and insert it back (contact service)
F 14 - incorrect position of the overheating sensor
F 15 - open circuit or short circuit of the potentiometer on the control
If the heater is equipped with a switch as a control, then the malfunction code is issued after the heater is turned off in the form of a flashing indicator light on the switch (blink code). After 5 short signals, long pulses are issued - the number of these pulses for various faults corresponds to the number after the letter F in the table above.
